Driveline

16-Week Driveline Baseball Program

Our 16-Week Driveline Baseball Program is designed for high school athletes dedicated to improving arm strength, throwing velocity, and long-term durability. Built around Driveline’s proven training methods, the program integrates throwing development, strength training, and recovery protocols to create more powerful, efficient, and healthy throwers.

The program is structured into three progressive phases, each tailored to safely and effectively build toward peak performance:

Phase 1: On-Ramp Phase (Weeks 1–8)

This extended foundation phase prepares the body for high-intensity velocity training. Athletes focus on arm care, proper throwing mechanics, mobility, and strength development in the weight room. The goal is to build physical readiness, stability, and efficiency—laying the groundwork for velocity gains in the next phase.

Phase 2: Velocity Phase (Weeks 9–14)

Athletes shift focus to increasing throwing velocity through structured high-intent throwing sessions, weighted ball work, and continued strength training. Emphasis is placed on balancing intense throwing days with proper recovery and arm care, ensuring sustainable performance gains without compromising arm health.

Phase 3: Competition Phase (Weeks 15–16)

The final phase prepares athletes for on-field competition. Training incorporates pitch design, command work, and live at-bats, helping players translate their off-season development into game-ready performance. This phase focuses on consistency, execution, and maintaining peak readiness for the upcoming season.

By the end of the 16 weeks, athletes will see noticeable improvements in velocity, control, arm stability, and overall performance, giving them a competitive edge heading into the season.
